Delivery Information
We aim to make ordering from Homestead Project as straightforward as possible. This page explains how we process and deliver orders placed through our online shop.
Where We Deliver
Where we deliver depends upon the item being sold, small items can be shipped worldwide, whereas large items can only be sold locally
If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your location, please contact us before placing your order at info@homesteadproject.co.uk.
Some products may have delivery restrictions or may only be available for delivery to certain areas. Where this applies, it will be stated on the individual product page.
Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are shown during checkout before you complete your order.
Where a product has a specific delivery charge, this will be clearly displayed on the product page or during checkout.
From time to time, we may offer free delivery promotions or products with free delivery. Any such offer will be clearly stated.
Processing Your Order
Orders are normally processed after payment has been successfully received.
The time required to process an order can vary depending on the product and whether it is being dispatched by Homestead Project or supplied directly by one of our fulfilment partners.
The estimated delivery time shown on the product page or at checkout should be used as the best indication of when your order is expected to arrive.
Orders are generally dispatched on working days, Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.
Products Supplied Directly by Our Partners
Some products available through the Homestead Project shop may be supplied and dispatched directly by one of our suppliers or fulfilment partners.
Where this applies, the product may arrive in packaging from the supplier rather than from Homestead Project.
Different products in the same order may therefore arrive separately and at different times.
You will not normally be charged an additional delivery fee simply because products in the same order are dispatched separately, unless this is clearly stated before you place your order.
Delivery Times
Delivery times vary depending on the product, the supplier and the delivery destination.
Where an estimated delivery time is provided on a product page, this is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date unless we specifically state otherwise.
If there is an unexpected delay affecting your order, we will provide you with any relevant information available to us and assist you in resolving the issue.
Tracking
Where a tracked delivery service is used, tracking information will normally be provided when it becomes available.
Tracking information may be supplied by Homestead Project, our fulfilment partner or the delivery company.
Please check your email, including your junk or spam folder, if you are expecting tracking information.
Orders Containing Multiple Products
If your order contains several products, they may be dispatched separately.
This can happen when products are:
- supplied by different fulfilment partners;
- stored at different locations; or
- subject to different processing or delivery times.
You may therefore receive several parcels relating to a single order.
Delivery Problems
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery period, please contact us at info@homesteadproject.co.uk.
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and, where practical, retain the packaging and take photographs of the damage.
If an item is missing, incorrect or damaged, please contact us so that we can investigate the problem and arrange an appropriate solution.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this delivery policy.
Incorrect Delivery Information
Please make sure that the delivery address and other information entered during checkout are correct.
If you realise that you have entered an incorrect address, please contact us as soon as possible at info@homesteadproject.co.uk.
We will do our best to correct the address before the order is dispatched, but we cannot guarantee that changes will be possible once an order has entered the dispatch process.
Delivery to a Safe Place or Neighbour
Where available, you may be able to provide delivery instructions through the delivery company.
Once an order has been handed to the delivery company, delivery may be subject to that company’s own procedures concerning safe places, neighbours and attempted deliveries.
Failed or Refused Deliveries
If a delivery cannot be completed because nobody is available, the delivery company may leave instructions for rearranging delivery or collecting the parcel.
If a parcel is returned to us or to our fulfilment partner because delivery could not be completed, please contact us so that we can determine the appropriate next step.
Additional delivery charges may apply where a parcel has to be re-dispatched because incorrect delivery information was provided or delivery was otherwise unsuccessful for reasons within the customer’s control.
This does not affect your statutory rights, including your rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
Delays Outside Our Control
Occasionally, delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, transport disruption, strikes, carrier problems or other unforeseen events.
Where we become aware of a significant delay, we will provide appropriate information and keep you updated where reasonably possible.
